	Description
	Bionect [Hyaluronic Acid] cream is a unique low molecular weight hyaluronic acid formulated for topical application. Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid allows better absorption of Bionect into the skin and improves its healing. Bionect is available in a form of cream and gel supplied in 25g tube cream and 30g tube gel. The active component of Bionect is sodium salt of hyaluronic acid or sodium hyaluronate. Sodium hyaluronate is similar to the fluid that surrounds the joints. Hyaluronic acid present in Bionect plays a vital role in tissue regeneration and wound healing as it is naturally present in high concentrations in the skin and soft connective tissues. In the presence of water hyaluronic acid molecules can expand in volume up to 1000 times and form loose hydrated matrices to retain hydration more effectively. As a result of its ability to form hydrated matrices. Bionect acts as a lubricant on the skin by restoring moisture and preventing friction or abrasion. Hyaluronic acid has also been used in cosmetic applications such as soft tissue augmentation and reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. Bionect cream is a light water-based cream designed to be applied directly to skin abrasions. Water-based formulation of Bionect cream is suitable for application to sensitive skin and directly to open wounds. The hydro-gel formulation of Bionect gel is water-based and fragrance free. Patients with sensitive skin should consider Bionect gel. For post laser healing and to use on burns caused by excessive sun exposure or radiation therapy dental work and mouth sores Bionect gel is suitable as it has a cooling effect.


	How to use
	The wounds or ulcers should be cleaned and disinfected prior to Bionect application. In case of long-standing ulcers it should be cleaned and disinfected by surgical or enzymatic means prior to Bionect treatment. Apply a thin layer of Bionect without extensive rubbing onto the wound surface. Bionect should be applied 2-3 times a day. Cover the injury area with a sterile gauze pad and if necessary with an elastic or compressive bandage.


	Side Effects
	Bionect [Hyaluronic Acid] gel may cause a mild burning sensation in the mouth. If the patient is hypersensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients of Bionect some adverse effects may occur like breathing trouble hives swelling of face lips tongue or throat skin infection such as redness swelling warmth and oozing.


	Drug Interaction
	Bionect [Hyaluronic Acid] and disinfectants containing quaternary ammonium salts should not be used concurrently because hyaluronic acid present in Bionect can precipitate in their presence.

	Storage
