DesOwen [Desonide & Tridesilon] is available in the form of cream ointment or lotion. This medicine acts by decreasing the irritation and itching on the affected areas of the skin. DesOwen [Desonide & Tridesilon] is an anti inflammatory drug. When DesOwen [Desonide & Tridesilon] is used some amount of the medication is absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream. Excess of absorption can lead to unwanted side effects elsewhere in the body. Hence small quantity of this medication should be used so that the side effects can be avoided. It should not be used on larger areas and avoid covering it with airtight dressings such as plastic wrap or adhesive bandages. The overuse of this medicine can cause increase in blood sugar and Cushings syndrome with symptoms such as a moon-shaped face emotional disturbances high blood pressure weight gain and in women growth of body and facial hair. In case you miss a dose of DesOwen [Desonide & Tridesilon] then you must apply it as soon as you remember but if it is time for your next dose then you can skip the dose and continue with your regular schedule.
