	Description
	Lamictal [Lamotrigine] is an anticonvulsant anti-epileptic medication used in the treatment of epileptic seizures in children and adults. It is not recommended for children who are below the age of 2 years. Patients who are suffering from bipolar disorder are also given this medication to delay their mood episodes. Lamictal [Lamotrigine] is also prescribed by doctors for reasons other than the ones stated here.


	How to use
	Lamictal [Lamotrigine] is not to be administered without consultation with the doctor. It should be taken in exactly the way as prescribed by the doctor. The medication may be swallowed as whole or it can be chewed or mixed in fruit juice or water. The doctor may change the dosage to get maximum benefit of the medication. 	Storage

	Precaution
