	Description
	Various components of Purim have antiseptic, antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, hepatic stimulant and wound healing properties. The components are mainly used for the treatment of skin diseases and wound healing. These components produce a synergistic effect. Purim helps in controlling pruritus which is associated with skin infections with its anti-allergic properties. Purim also helps as a detoxifier by helping in the improvement of liver functions, skin infections and removal of toxic metabolic products from different systems of the body by its hepatic stimulant property. It is also useful in the management of cutaneous manifestations of worm infestations by its anthelmintic and laxative actions. Composition Components of Purim tablets are divided into 2 types; powders and extracts. Each Purim tablet contains; Powders: Haridra (Curcuma longa) 36 mg Aragvadha (Cassia fistula) 36 mg Bakuchi (Psoralea corylifolia) 36 mg Kushta (Saussurea lappa) 36 mg Katuka (Picrorhiza kurroa) 36 mg Extracts: Nimba (Azadirachta indica Syn. Melia azadirachta) 32 mg Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia) 32 mg Varuna (Crataeva magna Syn. C. nurvala) 32 mg Triphala 31 mg Vidanga (Embelia ribes) 31 mg Bhringaraja (Eclipta alba Syn. E. prostrate) 31 mg Kalamegha (Andrographis paniculata) 31 mg


	How to use
	Usually the dosage is 1 to 2 tablets twice daily, preferably with meals. It is recommended to consult the physician before administering Purim tablets.

	Uses
