As it is antihistamine it is widely prescribed for sinus patients in many countries. Phenergan controls the production of histamine in the body that is caused by some irritants. Phenergan in general is a pill of 25 mg. this drug causes severe drowsiness so care should be taken while driving or while performing any task that require complete mental balance while on medication.
