	Description
	Rogaine is constituted by an active ingredient known as Minoxidil and other inactive ingredients. Minoxidil is a potassium channel agonist. This solution is available in two strengths, regular (2%) and extra strength (5%). Success rate of regular solution is 30% to 40%; and success rate of extra strength is 50% to 60%. It is mainly used for central or vertex balding.


	How to use
	Rogaine [Minoxidil] solution comes with dropper or spray. It should be applied on scalp twice a day for life to gain benefits. 	Side Effects

Some other side effects indicated are swelling of face and extremities, rapid and irregular heartbeat, lightheadedness, cardiac lesions, severe indigestion, unusual swelling of hands and feet, chest pain and focal necrosis of papillary muscle. 	Drug Interaction
	The physician should be informed if the patient is taking diuretics or any other medications for hypertension.

	Storage
	Rogaine [Minoxidil] should be stored at a temperature between 20°-25°C (68°-77°F), away from heat, light and moisture.
