Common side effects indicated using Soriatane [Acetretin] medication are chapped lips, peeling fingertips, palms and soles; itching, scaly skin all over, weak nails, sticky or fragile skin, runny or dry nose, nose bleeds, dry mouth, joint pain, tight muscles, hair loss, dry eyes and rise in blood fats (lipids).
Serious side effects indicated which may not happen often but can lead to permanent harm or rarely to death. Those adverse effects are bad headaches, nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, decreased vision in the dark, depression, yellowing of skin or whites of eyes, dark urine, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting together, aches or pain in bones, joints, muscles or back, loss of feeling in hands and feet, trouble moving, frequent urination, great thirst, hunger, shortness of breath, dizziness, chest pain, trouble speaking, swelling of leg, blood clot and stroke.
