This medication chemically contains a bile acid which decreases the production of cholesterol. It then dissolves the cholesterol in bile thus preventing the formation of stones.

Storage
Ursodial [Ursodeoxycholic acid] should be stored at room temperature. It should be kept out of reach of children and pets.
Precaution
